Rome Day 2...

Today we went to the Vatican. It was absolutely amazing. We started with our tour guide outside the Sistine Chapel.
the globe in the middle of the square.
Meagan and I waiting to go into the Sistine Chapel.Meagan putting her two cents in all the time.
Trisha and I. This is when she discovered that the globe moves by the wind blowing it.
Inside. All the statues lining the halls. In the little courtyard.   Ok the little chinese ladies were hilarious. They had their little visors on with their cameras around their neck! and they would take nine hundred pictures of themselves.
This is my future bath tub. It was huge! The ceilings inside this place were amazing. They were so beautiful, with all the paintings and the engravings.
This was on the floor walking to the Sistine. They said that the blue in this mosaic is said to be more precious than gold. It was so prety it was royal blue and almost like shinning on its own.
The ceiling walking through the musuems. Amazing. Looking out the window of the Vatican. The scenery is beautiful. The pope's stairs. It was blocked off because no one can walk on them.
Lorali Mariya and I waiting to go into the St. Peters Basilica.
This was the most amazing church I have ever seen. It was huge and gorgeous. The floors had designs on them, the walls had sculptures and painting, the ceiling had paintings on them, it was amazing. We walked around in their for hours just looking at everything.
The ceiling in the dome.
Meagan and I.
Heather and I with the alter in the background.Pieta. Mary holding Jesus' body. This was so beautiful to see in person. It almost kind of made you sad.

Statue of St. Peter sitting in his chair. The alter. Made completely of bronze. It was so pretty and huge.
The throne for God.
The St. Peter's Basilica looking from the Vatican square.
I love the fountains they have here. They are so pretty and you can just walk up to them and fill your bottle.
After the vatican tour we went watch the first match of the World Cup. It was USA against England. It was really kool to go watch the World Cup in a pub in Rome!
Meagan and I watching the game at The Living Room. It was so fun. Everyone would get all intense and the Italians would scream and yell then we would so it was like back and forth.
The girls watching the game. Then when the game was over it turned into a club so we danced and cut up.Then we went to this Irish pub and got a Harp. Lots of fun.
All the girls cheers to the day we had in Rome.
